Hi, I am Louisa! I am an engagement photographer based in Dorset, I also photograph proposals too. I love nothing more than capturing love between two people. I have been a photographer now for nearly ten years and I consider it to be the best job in the world. I have a documentary style to my photography; so I have a very natural and relaxed feel to my engagement photography.  As an experienced photographer, my journey led me to specialise in capturing the authentic, unscripted moments shared between couples. . As your Dorset engagement photographer I am dedicated to preserving your love story. Please take a look at how I transform genuine connections into timeless, captivating images.

Cherish your love story; with timeless engagement photography in Dorset

You might want to get in touch with me because you are about to propose (yippee! So excited for you!) or you might have already popped the question and would like some professional engagement photos taken. This is the perfect way to document your love for each other. (plus you'll have the perfect pictures for your Save the Date cards). I  understand that the most memorable moments between couples often unfold spontaneously and because of this my  photography style revolves around creating a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere during your photo session, allowing the genuine connection between partners to shine through. Simply get in touch with me and we can make plans to document your engagement or proposal.  Whether it is amidst the breath-taking landscapes of Dorset, Wiltshire or Somerset or in the comfort of your own home; I want you to be in a place that is sentimental to the pair of you. This could range from a serene country walk through fields and forests, the charm of your favourite seaside town with its sandy dunes, to an urban backdrop adorned with cafes, vibrant streets, and captivating architecture. Regardless of the chosen setting, the significance it holds for you takes precedence.

I will always advise you on the best time of day for you to have your shoot so that you have the most beautiful light for your photos, so they are extra special.

On the shoot itself I will make you feel as comfortable as possible so that you have the best time ever.  I promise by the end of our photo shoot you'll be saying "that was so much fun"

How it works?

Have some questions?

01.

What should I wear on my engagement shoot?

Make sure that you avoid wearing anything with large logos or prints as this will date your images. Neutral colours work best as you won't clash with your partner but most importantly wear something that you feel comfortable in.

02.

How to prepare for an engagement shoot ?

Think about the type of photo shoot that you would like;  the season for example, would you prefer a crisp early morning walk or a a summers evening shoot? Discuss it with your partner. Have a think about the location and where it is that is important to you both. Make sure that you look your best for your shoot so that you FEEL your best too. This will help you to shine more confidently in your beautiful images/

03.

What is the cost of an engagement shoot?

An engagement shoot cost £300 and will take approximately 1.5 hours you will receive 25 beautifully edited digital images within this price which you can print and upload as you wish/

04.

What if it rains?

Unless it is absolutely pouring down with rain then the shoot can still go ahead.  I am happy to negotiate another time for the shoot to happen if the weather really isn't playing ball and doesn't have the overall  'feel' you wanted  for your engagement photos.
